Until I was 8 or 9 years old, I thought that everyone went to their freezers to get their loaves of bread.
To be honest, I was both shocked and sad (and a little jealous) when I found out they sold bread already sliced in the stores. Mom always made crusty, thick sliced bread. She has always served those in her circle, ensuring their wants and needs were taken care of. Mom is the dream maker, taking a little girls visions or ruffles and sparkles and creating the perfect dress, or perfecting edible roses for a delicious cake. She gives unselfishly, loves everyone, and never meets a stranger. She taught me well, and I am forever indebited to her for these unparalleled life lessons.
Today, I'm proudly carrying on the dream maker torch through connecting dreamers to the perfect arctic white shiplap walls, granite countertops and access to the sugar soft beaches of 30A in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. Fueled by coffee, and inspired by my wonderful SoulMatch, amazing daughter & US Marine son.
