It was a dream come true when I moved to Central Oregon back in 1993! Fresh out of college with a degree in psychology, I spent my first ten years working for a local non-profit and enjoying our outdoor playground. In 1996, my wife and I purchased land and built our first house on a tight budget. That entire process was rewarding, stress-free, and fulfilling!
That purchase and construction project developed my love for how real estate interacts with our lives in such a significant way. It is the foundation of our lives, the base camp from where we live.
In 2003 that interest led me to shift my career into real estate, and I began working at a small local brokerage in Sisters, OR. My college education and non-profit work were oriented around investing in the lives of others, and from my own house project, I had a picture of how that could benefit others in a full-time real estate career.
Just like it was with my own experience, I work hard to ensure that whether you are a buyer or seller in the real estate market, your experience is a positive, stress-free, and enjoyable one.
Maybe I’m a little old-fashioned, but don’t you agree that we all want a professional that goes above and beyond what is expected? Where does the professional you’re working with treat you like a close friend, family member, or VIP? Or even as if it were their own investment? I know I sure do! And that is what drives my business.
The heart of my business are the stories of connections with clients who have become friends and neighbors over the years. My connection with clients is always as unique as each of my clients.
One of the unique and memorable occasions was having a client ask me to officiate a formal renewal of their wedding vows!
