Carol Shields is a native Californian. Born in San Francisco, and raised on the Peninsula, she spent childhood summers in Sonoma County.
Carol's real estate expertise is with Sonoma County vineyard properties, fine homes, acreage and investment properties. Carol has been taking care of business all her life, from single parenting and single breadwinner, to holding chair positions for various local organizations. She served as one of five Governors on the California State Board of Women's Council of Realtors in 2009. In 2008 she mentored San Francisco, Marin and Napa Counties Chapters as a District Vice President. WCR is a national network of over 17,000 successful REALTORS empowering women to exercise their potential as entrepreneurs and industry leaders.
Carol has diverse interests as a resource in real estate. She earned her certification in the green real estate industry in 2008, via the EcoGreen Realtor education and training. She also specializes in fine homes and rural properties, including vineyard estates. One of her passions is helping single mom's become homeowners. Carol stays tuned into housing issues in Sonoma County, and also serves on the international Leadership Council for Centers for Spiritual Living.
