Honors

Lore holds several of the real estate industry's most prestigious professional designations. She is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), which indicates that she has undergone rigorous, specialized courses of detailed training aimed at making residential transactions as smooth and worry-free as possible and was required to demonstrate a volume of transactions. Lore also holds the GRI designation which honors the fact that she is a Graduate of the REALTOR® Institute. Her most recent affiliation is with the Real Estate Cyberspace Society and has completed the N.A.R. e-Pro technology courses. 

Personal Information

For her entire professional career, Lore has been involved in some aspect of real estate. She worked for a real estate developer and an architectural land planner. For a period of time Lore owned her own property management company and has worked in the legal field as well. This experience has given Lore an understanding of real estate from the ground up and helps her to assist her clients in getting the most for their real estate dollar.

Lore attended Northwestern University where she studied accounting and has been a resident of Monterey since 1979. "I came here on vacation for nine years in a row and finally decided that this was the place that I wanted to call home," explains Lore.

When not serving her clients, Lore enjoys cooking, gardening, photography and learning something new on the computer.

Memberships

Lore is a member of the Monterey County Association of REALTORS®, the California Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. All of these associations uphold a strict code of ethics and ensure that its members are up to date on the latest marketing techniques and legislation affecting real estate. She is also quite active in the Northern California Chapter of the Certified Residential Specialists, having served as that organization's secretary.   As a member of the Real Estate Cyberspace Society, she is always on top of new programs to benefit her technology efficiencies.

Charities & Volunteer Work

Over the years, Lore has been involved as Co-Chair of the Education Committee for the former Carmel Association of Realtors to bring a higher level of education to local Realtors with the GRI and CRS courses. She has also been involved in the fund raising for the Salvation Army Can-Tree Project, the March of Dimes and Heart Fund.  In 2006, she was a member of the Coldwell Banker fund raising committee for Habitat for Humanity.  In 2007, Lore was the Champion for the local offices of Coldwell Banker which raised $20,000 for the Monterey Peninsula Habitat of Humanity. 

Professional Philosophy

 Lore gets very involved in all of her transactions. She is definitely not the kind of REALTOR® who gives the detail work to someone else to handle. "I believe in meticulous attention to every nuance," says Lore. "That includes not only the paperwork but the people as well.  Since buying or selling real estate is a major event, there is a great need to attend to the legal details and timing in order to meet timelines as outlined in the contracts."

With technology being a major part of every transaction, Lore takes advantage of the high tech tools to communicate and move documents to their destinations - either to clients, escrow or individuals who are a part of the transaction.

Marketing properties is one of her joys.  She loves the creative side of photographing properties so their best advantage and creating virtual tours and marketing materials to attract prospective Buyers.

Although Lore takes her career very seriously, she is known for her sense of humor. Lore's clients know that she likes to laugh and they enjoy the fact that Lore is having fun doing something that she loves...helping people buy and sell homes.
