Bridget is the founder and CEO of MYSTIC SHORE FINANCIAL GROUP, Inc. Licensed in Connecticut and Rhode Island for Health and Life Insurance Bridget represents Anthem, Aetna, Connecticare and is affiliated with The Chamber Insurance Trust. Bridget was a District General Agent for Colonial Life specializing in Benefits Communications. She was responsible for recruiting and training new agents in Southeastern Connecticut.
Morrissey attended the Colonial Life Management Development Conference in Dallas, Texas. She has also attended the Senior Market Advisor Academy in Nashville, TN and assists both baby-boomers and retirees in planning for retirement. She has also been recognized for outstanding achievement in employee benefits programs with the Founder's Award from AFLAC.
Prior to the Insurance Business, Bridget was the Owner of Bridget's Aerobix Plus for several years, with locations in Westerly, R.I. and Groton, CT. Bridget's was the largest women's Fitness Facility in Southeastern CT as well as Southern R.I. Members of the Fitness Facility have very fond memories and achieved great results.
The Commercial Record has named its 2012 Women of FIRE honorees, an annual award recognizing the key female players in the local FIRE (Finance, Insurance and Real Estate) sector.
The second annual Women of FIRE award celebrates the best and the brightest women in the Connecticut FIRE industry. With the help of Commercial Record readers, a group of judges sorted through dozens of nominations and chose 12 brilliant, innovative leaders to be named this year’s Women of FIRE. Bridget Morrissey – Realtor, RE/MAX Property Consultants, was named as one of this year's recipients.
“We searched for the best of the best – those women who are making a difference through innovation, hard work, team-building, philanthropy, mentoring or leadership – and these women demonstrate these exemplary qualities,” said Timothy M. Warren Jr., CEO of The Warren Group, publisher of The Commercial Record.
The September issue of The Commercial Record magazine will include profiles of each of the winners. The winners will also be honored at the 2012 Women of FIRE Awards Luncheon on September 27. Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman will give the keynote speech, proving how determination and perseverance can lead to extraordinary accomplishments.

Bridget has worked with us for over a year in assuring that our house sold. We came upon hard times due to my husband's cancer and although we had to go into a short sale, she stayed with us and kept on reassuring us and encouraging us. She never waivered, even as she went through her own trying times.
