Prior to starting my real estate career in 1994, I was the Carson Valley Fire Chief for the 14 previous years. As a result, I know the movers & shakers, I know the politics, I know the people and the issues. I use this experience and knowledge to the best service of my customers and clients.
Additionally, Last year I served as President of the Sierra Nevada Board of Realtors and was elected Realtor of the Year. My passion is helping my customers and clients wih their real estate needs and challanges. I am very good at what I do. Certifications
The beautiful Carson Valley provides a plethora of wonderful outdoor activities. In the winter you can find Nancy and I on the ski slopes in Kirkwood or just hiking a snow trail with our two dogs Charlie & Kelsy. After the snow melts we take every opportunity for a short camping trip in our T@DA trailer to one of the hundreds of mountain campgrounds in our area. We enjoy hiking and exploring and have a fondness for Yosemite National Park where I worked my way through college. I am a CASA, (Court Appointed Sepcial Advocate) which is an advocate for children caught up in the court system through no fault of their own, (Mostly in divorces of parents). In that role I gather facts pertinent to the wellbeing of the children, prepare a report and submit it to the judge attending to the case. This is a very rewarding and sometimes heart wretching endevour.
