I am President of the Topeka Area Association of Realtors, Director for the Kansas Association of Realtors®, member of the National Association of Realtors® TAARMLS board. I serve at the pleasure of my fellow real estate agents on the following Boards: Board of Directors and Executive Committee; in addition the following committees: Nominating committee, and the Grievance Committee (who follow up on consumer real estate complaints.) I have been elected twice to serve on the Topeka Area Association of Realtors® - Board of Directors in 2006-2014 Treasurer for our association in 2012. I am active in Professional Standards and A Board Director at the State Level. In 2011, I was admitted into the prestigious Master's Club closing over $32,417,000. in a minimum of 5 years. In 2009, I was awarded the prestigious award of "Outstanding Member of the Year" and the "Making a Difference" award for extraordinary service to the association and volunteer efforts.
I have lived here all my life. Who better to assist in your Real Estate needs? I was educated in the Shawnee Heights School district, K-12 and attended Washburn University while working for the State of Kansas full-time. I am a prior business owner and served the State of Kansas in a number of employment positions. I also went above and beyond by serving at the pleasure of the Governor on various committees to enhance the health and wellness of state employees and benefit packages, the State of Kansas collection system and various other committees.
On a more personal note; I am married, the mother of 3 children, and caregiver to elderly parents. I enjoy trying to balance family, religion, health, community and my job. I am involvement in community activities especially sponsoring various school activities, children and battered programs for women, such as Women United who pick up where other service programs fail to assist women & children in need. I support Housing and Credit Counseling of Topeka and the United Way. I also enjoy my memberships into National professional women's group such as American Business Womens Association and the National Association of Professional Women. My volunteer activities are centered around the needs of others through the Ride to Recovery program-American Cancer Society, delivering Meals on Wheels, donating blood and my Church.
