My history is well rounded: First I Built a base of first time buyers and as they have grown up(a nice way to say we all have gotten old) I merged into higher end property because my base needed larger homes and could now afford them. Also for the same reason I started working Commercial Real Estate because once again my base needed commercial for their businesses. I work past customers and their gifts, new business. I am a rain maker and in this bad market (2008)there are not as many rain days! I love marketing and writing ads, I work and know very well the fix-up and sell market Investors are a specialty. I guess a bunch of my" special areas " have turned into a well rounded ability to serve those loyal clients who keep coming back! I love to coach new agents. I am working my way into the REO market and have 5 (I know not many yet) REO listings currently and most have sold in less than 30days!

I work with my sister Jane who is licensed and an excellent agent she assists me with buyers and is also an excellent listing agent. I am a listing agent who believes in open houses, lots of advertising, Internet, Internet, Internet exposure. Just having the home open for lookers really has always worked for me if the buyer hasn't been shown the home by their agent they can wander in and bring their agent back and BUY my clients home. I also get to sell the listing to buyers who visit the open and most importantly I get pure honest feedback from buyers who are out looking for homes in the area.The feedback will give me the best advise on price,how the home shows and any issues that need to be corrected to sell the home. After all the buyer is not jaded as an agent can be  when an agent gives feedback it is usually very critical where as a buyer can see it as it really is.

As a listing agent I set a goal to get the most money for the home in a reasonable amount of time. I like to work as a team with the sellers. I give my buyers and my sellers control after all they are the boss. I have to do things their way or convince them of a better way. It is essential to let the client drive with the facts and information I can provide they will feel comfortable making the right choice for them. It would be hard for me to imagine that anyone would enjoy and make the correct choice if an agent was pushing for a decision. Even if it was the right one it would not be a comfortable experience and certainly not an enjoyable one. The philosophy teat others as you would want to be treated goes a very long way.
