Process for obtaining obtain Apostilles (Hague Convention), Certificates of Authentication, Document Legalization, and Notary Flags -
You bring your documents for notarization and I send it with proper forms and fees to the appropriate government agency in the State of Washington.
The agency will mail the notarized or certified document with Apostille, Certificate, or Flag directly to you or to another address you provide.
Processing time - The completed package usually arrives in your mailbox within two weeks of your notary appointment. Faster service is available. I can discuss various options over the phone or during your notarization appointment. (604) 484-3681
Multiple documents - A document may be one page (as in a copy of your passport) or many pages, as in a Thesis.
Each document has one ink notary seal. Additional embossed seals are added to documents as needed.
International regulations and the Hague Convention state each separate notarized document must have its own Certificate, Flag, or Apostille.
Location - Notary office is in Point Roberts, WA, just below the southwest tip of British Columbia mainland.

Fees - Fees for Apostilles, Certificates of Authentication, and Notary Flags are $85usd for the first document plus $25usd for each additional document. This includes Apostille, Certificate, or Flag fees for government agency Processing Supplies and postage Notarization of your documents is an additional low fee, virtually always lower than charged in BC.
An estimate will be provided when you phone for an appointment. Fees are set by the state and vary according to type of document and type of notarial wording used. I will ask you questions during our call so I can give you the most accurate estimate possible.
