Get to Know Andy Willis

Andy, a native of Atlanta, GA, has been a licensed sales associate or broker since 1991.  After completing a final Military Tour in the Minneapolis, St. Paul area where he served as the U S Army Recruiting Company Commander, he entered his new career field as a REALTOR® quickly becoming successful as a REALTOR® and moved from sales professional to managing broker successfully managing     He holds a B.S. Degree in Education from North Georgia College and completed several MBA Classes at Metro State University in St. Paul Minnesota.  Andy received his commission as a second lieutenant in the U S Army Field Artillery and served at duty assignments in Europe, Oklahoma, Crete and Minnesota.  His education continued along with his military career completing numerous schools including the Combined Armed Services Senior Staff School at Ft. Leavenworth KS.  He was raised in the Metropolitan Atlanta Area in a “Single Parent” family and quickly learned the importance of a quality work ethic and goal setting; two fundamental qualities of the real estate industry.


Since committing to this profession, Andy has fulfilled many roles in the real estate market of Atlanta including:

Individual multimillion dollar producer in his local REALTOR® Association. On-Site management of new homes developments Graduate of Electronic Realty Associates top producer training program “Top Gun”. Successfully managed a three office franchise in NE Atlanta for four years. Selected as the Managing Broker of The Year in 1999 for Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS®. Joined Prudential Georgia Realty in Atlanta as the Managing Broker of our Lilburn office in June of 2001 and successfully managed that branch for over four years. After managing Lilburn, he became the Vice President of Training and Career Development, responsible for all training of over 1500 agents in including specialized Career Mapping for all stages of sales associate career growth. Completed Prudential Real Estate Affiliates Certified Career Development Specialist (CCDS) Course allowing Andy to train PREA Courses on a local and regional level.   Coordinated over 80-90 hours of training monthly (with about 75-80% CE approved). Monthly instructed Post License (5 days of Post License plus one day “Value of the Brand”) for 16 months with classes averaging 32 students (over 500 trained).  Also, in the classroom 3-4 days the remaining weeks training an array of topics: Contracts, Listing & Buyer Presentations, Handling Objections, Time & Energy Management, Business Planning, Tech Classes, Advanced Topics  & Masters Level,  etc.  monthly Coordinated high caliber training with other esteemed national trainers including John Hamilton, DREI, Greg Dunn and Carla Cross to name a few. Completed the Certified Mentor training for Brian Buffini’s 100 Days to Greatness program.


Andy has always been an educator and a leader holding positions in the Army commanding combat Units, Training new officers and commanding a recruiting company (Army Sales Organization) transitioning to Real Estate managing developments, agents, offices and training responsibilities for a large organization.
