Andrea Szlavik has worked in the local real estate industry for the past 10 years, first in property management then in residential, commercial and land sales. She has built a team of five professional, award-winning agents. She has lived and traveled abroad extensively, speaks both GERMAN and FRENCH and as the daughter of immigrants understands the special concerns of clients who either are new to this country or speak English as a second language. She received a B.A. in International Relations and German Language from The American University and holds a Translator's certificate in German. She has consistently been a multi-million dollar producer while at Prudential, Fox and Roach and is a PRESIDENT'S CIRCLE AWARD WINNER. She is experienced in both RESALE and NEW CONSTRUCTION. She and her team specialize in CORPORATE RELOCATION - both domestic and international. Other languages spoken on her team include ITALIAN, HUNGARIAN and SPANISH. Because we have several team members we have the ability to have agents who specialize in different areas. On our team we have agents who specialize in corporate relocation - both domestic and international and have recently been named the exclusive realtors for three nationally recognized companies. We also have agents who specialize in first time buyers; we will take the time to teach the first time buyer all the ins and outs of homeownership including mortgage, title, inspections, warranties etc. We have an agent who specializes in Senior Living and can address the concerns unique to the 55+ community. We also have an agent who works with landowners who are looking to sell their parcels whether it be to builders, conservancy or other homeowners/investors and can navigate the landowner through the maze of governmental regulations and help find the best fit for the owner. We are one of the few teams in the area who have multilingual agents: we speak GERMAN, FRENCH, SPANISH, ITALIAN, HUNGARIAN. As team leader, I have acquired my Broker's license which requires the completion of many transactions, hundreds of hours of additional education and a State and National exam. I also hold the Accredited Seller's Representative (ASR) and Certified Relocation Specialist (CRS) designations.
