Your agent should be able to identify gaps in coverages and help you determine the best way to protect your future. There are many insurance companies, and most of them will quote different rates based on certain risks. Some companies reward safe drivers, while some will offer discounts that other companies will not. Sometimes these discounts can make a difference in overall cost, but always make sure that you are not sacrificing coverage just to save on price. I never advise anyone to lower their coverages just to bring their premium down. It's never a good idea to be penny wise/pound foolish when it comes to insurance.
