I strive to create personal relationships with my clients - I listen to the customer and use my knowledge of the area to find the right match.
After 15 years in the telecommunications industry as a senior staff engineer and business manager, I am an expert in the process of resolving issues, contract negotiations, and customer service. I believe there are no problems that can not be solved! My background and experience have prepared me for the various scenarios that can arise when managing a home for a client. Since I was a youngster growing up in a family that had multiple residential and commercial investments in Florida and internationally, I have helped manage properties and have seen the best tenants as well as the few who left in the middle of the night. It was this experience, training as an engineer, attention to detail and superior follow-up skills that has made my success in the field of property management.
I am a third-generation, Florida native and has lived in Palm Beach County for over 17 years. I have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Masters of Science in Engineering Management, both from the University of Florida. I am active in the community and have been on the boards of my homeowners association.
I am an active member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM®), and the Florida Association of Residential Property Managers (FARPM®). NARPM and FARPM are dedicated to enhancing the professionalism and ethics of Residential Property Management. I am a member of the Treasure Coast chapter which received recognition as "2004 Chapter of the Year". I received a Residential Management Professional (RMP®) credential in 2007 from the national association. An RMP designation is given to individuals who have completed approved coursework in Habitability Standards and Maintenance, Tenancy, Ethics, Marketing and Office Operations to name a few, visit www.narpm.com for more details on this designation. I am one of the first to receive the Florida designation of Professional Residential Manager (PRMTM), indicating a high level of training and experience in the local field of property management. Each state has numerous laws surrounding the Landlord-Tenant relationship; I maintain my education and knowledge by attending an annual legal seminar.
I am a state-licensed real estate Broker, a Guardian Ad Litum for the Palm Beach County Court system and a member of the Realtor® Association of the Palm Beaches. As owner of Salefish Properties, I oversee the daily operation of the company.
