Hello,  My name is Tammy Weik, I am a Realtor, with Carousel Realty of Dyer County.  I consider myself a new Realtor but also very excited to learn and grow in this business.  It is never boring.  I am learning something everyday in this business and its a great time to be involved with knowledge and with people .   I enjoy meeting people everyday and in all walks of life and I consider it a joy to help people find a home.

     I  feel very blessed  to sell real estate.

A few years ago my life was changed for ever.  In 1993 , was married and moved to the beautiful Gulf Coast.  My husband was in resteraunt management and I was a hair sylist.  We bought our first home in Ocean Springs, Ms in 1997 and had a wonderful life.  God blessed and I was allowed to have my children home with me while I worked at home doing hair.  Having my own business was wonderful and with the AirForce base being in Biloxi, I met new moms all the time that needed  a stylist. 

I have wanted to be a REALTOR for years, but the opportunity never approaced.

August of 2005,  life changed.  Hurricane Katrina hit.  Well , our family is from West Tennessee, so where do you go in time of trouble?  You go HOME!  We came home with 3 days of clothes and expected a quick return home as we usually do , with the hurricane evacuations that you seem to get used to if you live on the coast.

So, needless to say , we didn't get to go back, my dh went back a few weeks later.  Our home was not liveable and we both lost our jobs.  God put us in Dyersburg for a reason and he has continually blessed us.  Sometimes Satan will try to get me down, but I know whom I beleived, and he is able . Jesus is in control and is good all the time!

After being back, the door opened widely for me to take the Realtor course at TREES in Jackson, TN.  During the three week course, my mother had a heart attack, my son got strep throat, and I still passed.  I knew then that God was in this and has a reason if I will just allow him to work through me.   With only being a REALTOR now for year and half , still feel have alot to learn.  But I thank God for bringing me to Carousel Realty .  When you can work with Christians and share with each other your concerns and speak of the Lord freely , again , I am very blessed.

Currently, I still work as a hair stylist and  Realtor.  I work at Smartstyle in Dyersburg Walmart part-time.
