I am a Broker Associate with over 26 years of experiance, selling homes in Contra Costa County, including but not limited to Concord, Clayton, Walnut Creek, LaMorinda, Pleasant Hill, Martinez, Pittsburg, Antioch, Discovery Bay, Brentwood, and Bay Point.  I know the Market!  I know the community!  My Years of expertise and caring about my clients are what has kept me serving the area I live and love!  I have seen the gamat on the many different markets over the years.  I can tell you what went on in the past, during what years, and what is going on in the present and offer you differing predictions of the future markets, but unfortunately, without a "crystal ball" to be certain.  I know what I know.  I was one of the first to work on "short sales" in the early '90's, watched the market peak up high and drop real low and why, and why it came back.

Certifications

I work with many first time home buyers!  They are special because it is there first time!  They are ususally nervious and excited.  They have many questions, and take a lot of time to educate them so they know they are making the best decision for them and/or their family.

I work really well with divorcing people.  After many years of a long term marrieage I too, ended up in the statistics.  I have learned theat the calmest, most honerable people can go a little wacko during this time.  Some people get very angry.  It doesn't matter to me.  I understand the dynamics involved and keep a very nuetral outlook, which is what Sellers need at this time in their life more than anything.  I work the way most comfortable to them and their situation.   I stay factual when they are struggling with emotional, but still keep and aura of empathy, it's not an easy time, but I can assure them that it will improve, and it always does.

I work well with retirees and single people!  That is fun because either moving up or moving away, they have made a commitment to a new lifestyle change.  It is impowering for me to watch people change course in there life, and I love knowing I can help them.

I work well with Buyers who have a property they must sell first to purchase an upgrade, or downgrade, whichever the circumstance.  These people tend to take their time, as they already own a home, don't need, but want and can use a different one.  They take longer and need a lot of education where discussing the many different options of keeping the home they currently own and buying another vs selling that home first and buying another vs finding a home first, then selling the home they have.  Depending on market conditions any of the 3 options can come into play, it is a matter of what works for them and their needs.  I always like educating clients.  That way I know that the options they make are their choice and they know why they are doing what they are doing.

I like working with investors.  They are a lot of fun, because their is no emotional conection on what they want to do - it is all about dollars and cents.  They need lots of facts to back up their decisions and I enjoy putting the facts together in an easy to understand package.
