After almost 50 years in the real estate business, I continue to be amazed at how much more there is to learn. This is NOT a stagnant industry. It's exciting and ever-changing. I am priviliged to be the owner and CEO of one of Arizona's largeest NW valley brokerages. We have been in business for over 20 years, operate three offices with more than 120 agents. Our aim is to support honest, quality agents.
I believe I've had almost every certification known to real estate at one time or another. I've taught many classes and seen many newbees under our training, go on to be extremely successful agents. I no longer seek the alphabet soup after my name, as I learned long ago, it's what you know, not how many renewal fees you pay to claim Certification initials that most people don't even know what they stand for. GRI is great, after that, for residential specialists, it's mostly just ego.
