I have auctioned for decades all over the United States. Many of today's auctioneers don't tell you how new they are to the business because they know how important experience is. I have sold everything from horses to houses and from Real Estate to Life Estates. I have been selling real estate at auction for over 26 years and am learning every day. What worked 5 years ago may not work today. Advertising is the key. Massive advertising is crucial to bringing the buyers. Buyers not bidders is what matters. You know what I mean if you have ever been to a sale and everyone is standing around watching but not bidding. The auctioneer's job is to bring the buyers to the sale by marketing in every way possible up to and including the sale day. I have been a permitted Florida real estate instructor and Florida real estate appraisal instructor. I am a licensed real estate broker in Flroida since 1988 and a licensed real estate agent since 1986. I am presently licensed as a real estate appraiser as well and my auctioneer's license in Florida is AU#2201. Many auctioneers do not sell real estate as a main stay and most realtors do not have a clue on how to hold a successful auction. My niche is selling real estate not listing it via the competitive bid method of auctioneering. I use all the skills and tools of the auctioneer and of the real estate broker to maximize price while minimizing marketing time.
