See More The complete failure of this company to provide anything close to quality service is best explained in an article I found written a few months back greatcoloradohomes.com/b… Our experience with IDXBroker is that the salesman Larry promised us the world on a silver platter and once the payment was made dropped the ball on every promise. For simple configurations that should be "turnkey solutions" this company responds to almost every support request with "Hire a Java programmer if you want to customize something" or Hire a developer. It is anything but a helpful program unless you are just trying to create a simple billboard for your clients and properties. As the CEO of a very successful and reputable company I can assure you that their system is anything but search engine friendly. By using the integrated features of their service 90% of a real estate agent's website will reside on an idxbroker.com subdomain (i.e. yoursite.idxbroker.com) because they do not have a method of putting simple code or shortcodes on a privately owned domain name and force the agents to use complicated schemes to implement simple solutions like displaying Featured Listings. There is ONE option and that is called a "wrapper" which lets you create a sub domain on your website. In this case that sub domain is WWW.yoursite.com! But this can only be used for one feature so if you want to use more than one of their features then you have to hire a programmer to manipulate their system. The WWW solution (this is a sub domain technically) only allows for the display of one feature such as a Featured Listings page. But let's say you want to have a grid of properties, or a search page, or anything else, you have no other option but to create additional sub domains onto your website!! NORMAL companies would let you put a code in your html, or your Wordpress site, in order to make functions work. They do have shortcodes for very limited features. If you do need help customizing anything they are not helpful at all and defer everything to "hire a developer". They take no responsibility for their product or service. In addition their sales people are liars. Period. If you are considering this company RUN AWAY FAST. Feel free to contact me or my company for suggestions on how to accomplish the solutions that you need on your real estate site. We have spent and wasted money and time with idxbroker and they REFUSE to even refund the setup cost of $99 even after promising that we are Guaranteed a FULL REFUND if we are not satisfied. Another lie. This is not an ethical company and we are very disappointed at the deceitful nature of their staff from the bottom all the way to the top levels of management who seem to be accustomed to avoiding confrontation while manipulating new customers/victims.

It seems that the majority of the bugs are worked out or cur... See More I see some negative reviews and I am sure the issues were real because of the recent upgrade to IDX broker platinum. Based on personal experience, it is a fact that any upgrade is going to have challenges but this IDX program is very good and it works well. It seems that the majority of the bugs are worked out or currently being addressed. I was able to administer IDX broker without hiring a developer; however, I am very comfortable with basic web site set up and I built my own site with a template; mainsailrealty.com. I do not know HTML. I signed up and within a couple of days, they had my IDX site set up Creating links and new SEO optimized pages is super easy. (Just create a saved search link). This program is not hosted on your site but it has the appearance of your web site and your customers will probably not know the difference. I actually like the fact that it is a subdomain not on my site because my site ranks well and I don't want to mess with that. This is like having a new site that looks and feels just like your existing site. Think in terms of links with this program and you will be good. You can have all links in a page or a menu on your site can be a link to the IDX broker IDX search page. Here is the deal, I checked many of the non custom or semi custom IDX programs and feel that this is the best option. With IDX broker platinum you have advanced search fields so it is easy to set up searches for types of WaterFront, neighborhood, price ranges, days on market, school zone, etc, etc, etc. The look of the pages seems to be better than most. Also, the customer management side is very powerful. If all you need is a basic or advanced mls search page where your customers input all of the parameters, there is probably a cheaper option but if you want to create hyper local pages, this is a great option without going for the super expensive custom IDX. I have to give their customer service an A+ because they are very nice and easy to get in touch with and they have quickly answered my questions. I hope this helps.
