This week, I received my new Apple iPhone 7 Plus, and so far I am impressed.
First, it's a great phone that does everything it's supposed to do. And while it doesn't have a separate jack for the earbuds, which are included with the phone (along with an adapter if you want to use your old earbuds), and the new earbuds seem to have a longer cord to facilitate their use while driving.
Second, transferring my old apps and data was seamless (for me that's really saying something).
Third, the camera is greatly improved over the Apple 6 Plus, with a wide-angle lens that can be used in a pinch for interior shots. It also does a wonderful job with night shots. I'm about to go out with my dog and try some more types of photos.
Fourth, it's a gorgeous piece of equipment with a definite cool factor that appeals to all of us Apple snobs. I got the pink gold version that works as a fashion accessory with the clear "military grade" case.
Finally, the new version is not totally waterproof, but it is water-resistant. So if you thought you could use the amazing camera underwater while snorkeling, forget it.
