The Graduate, Realtors Institute (GRI) designation was the first one I obtained from the Washington Association of Realtors in 1986. I have other designations, and I have always considered the GRI to be one that gives agents a solid foundation, and professional recognition as well. I highly recommend this course of study for newer agents, or those getting back into the business.
