Unaware of their rights, renters have been giving up their keys for cash. As property owners were going into foreclosure, tennants were getting the boot. A new nationalized policy would keep Fannie Mae from putting people on the streets this winter and next year. Hopefully others will follow suit...

The two longest recessions since the great depression have both been 16 months (early 70's & 80's). We are currently at 12 months and counting. Predictions for a rebound in mid 2009 sound early to some but would put us in the record books. All predictions appear only to agree on a gradual recover...
