The New York Times described Manitou Springs, CO as "Hippie Mayberry."  I'll be the first to admit, it is a VERY interesting little town.  Manitou Springs is nestled between Colorado Springs and Pikes Peak.  It is maybe 10-15 minutes from downtown Colorado Springs.     http://travel.nytimes.com/2...
