I talk about every aspect in staging, from the fun creative side we all went into the business for, to the dreaded business end that unfortunately must be attended to at least as much as, if not more than, the artistic side.

In large spread out rooms it is important to define space.  In this room, the eye wandered all over and there was no calm, resting place for the focus to relax in.  One of the tougher challenges to staging this type of room is how to lay out the furniture so it avoids the 'just stuck it in there'...

Here's a trick for filling out space on a wall without needing big pieces of art.  I used these four placemats I bought at Pier One.  They come in a couple colors, so I always have the brownish/black ones, as well as the rust.  Another use for these woven squares is to place them on a bookshelf h...

Staging Vacancies is my ultimate favorite as the blank canvas gives so much creative freedom.  The rooms are so much more inviting and staging helps turn these properties like nothing else.  2.This dining room was cold and boring.  Staging highlights the great bay window.

Can any of you real estate experts guide me to national advertising?  We are selling our house in TEXAS, and from my previous posts you know we are offering 2.5% commission of the selling price - house listed at 895K.  We want to get included in publications all over the country. Thanks for any a...
