You can get to both places within a few hours. I am a native Charlottean, but have lived in Gastonia for the past 24 years. I do love both places. We have great schools for our children, and awesome fully stocked shopping malls to shop in. Gourmet restaurants, and aromatic coffee houses are plentiful. Our weather is superb!
