With the clock moving forward on March 8th and St. Patrick's Day festivities right around the corner, the Cape Cod Real Estate market is blooming like a crocus! Winter weather has contributed to a pent up buyer clientele due to lack of new inventory, accessible listings and winter travel conditions. Last weekend buyer traffic was up 35%, new listings and relisted properties hit the market in record numbers and appointments doubled. Some of the best listings hit the market right now. Sellers like to move in the summer months so if buyers purchase now with an extended closing, they will miss the "full swing market" frenzy, multiple offers and miss the stress of the April and May home shopping. Cape Cod property inventory is lower than usual. Foreclosures and bank owned/short sales are on the decline. Investors welcome. Flippers, good luck.
