As a woman, I find carrying a laptop around cumbersome and heavy. I bought a sony VAIO mini computer last year and I take it everywhere. I carry it in my purse. It weighs about a pound.  It impresses my clients when I whip it out and pull up info from the internet. It is absolutely wonderful.

If there are agents out there interested in doing short sales, I know of a national company that sends these out for a referral fee. Here in Ohio, working with them can be a full-time job. If you are interested, contact me and I will give you their information. Their training is excellent.

That same great agent also told me that you should get your business in a variety of ways. Out of the box ideas are great, but stick with the old standard ways of doing business such as referral business, FSBO's expired and farming. In addition she does REO's and short sales. It works.

I was told by a great realtor in the area that she only works "half days". She works nine AM to nine PM. I wonder if this is true for most agents?
