Hot Markets and Useful Real Estate Information

Bountiful homes sold rocketed 80%, selling 40 more units.  Sold price of Bountiful Real Estate also decreased by 6-7%.

West Valley Utah homes climbed 71 homes or 36%.  Median sold price declined $17,000 or about 10%.  Average West Valley City homes sold price also decreased, but only by $12,500.

An increase of 11% in homes sold was experienced in West Jordan Real Estate.  Prices stayed in the low 200s but slightly decreased.  West Jordan homes currently have 7 months of inventory.

The number of Taylorsville homes sold decreased by about ten homes, or 13%.  Median price decreased 6.5% and average Taylorsville Real Estate price went down 5.5%.

Sold price of South Jordan Real Estate decreased 6-12%, allowing the number of South Jordan homes sold to increase 12%.

While several cities experienced an increase in homes sold, Sandy Real Estate was one of those who experienced decreases across the board.  Sandy homes sold and the prices they sold at all decreased by about 6%.

Salt Lake City Ut Real Estate increased 6%, or almost 50 homes.  Inventory has reached 6 months and Salt Lake homes have seen a slight decrease in price.

Riverton houses increased 19% during the second quarter of 2010.  Median and average sold price of Riverton homes declined by 4 to 5 percent.  Inventory is close to 7 months.

A 13% increase in Murray homes sold may have effected the decrease in sold price.  Median sold price slipped 5% and average sold price of Murray Real Estate decreased 13%.

Midvale homes came very close to doubling but median price fell 13%.  Average sold price of homes in Midvale slipped only 3%.
