"A few years back I called the owner of a home that was on the market with another agency but recently came off the market without selling. When I asked the owner if they were still planning to sell their home, she said "yes we do want to sell but my husband and I both work some times 7 days a week and we cannot have a lockbox because of our German Sheppard". She said her previous agent told her that unless the house can be shown it will not sell. I asked the owner if I could stop by to speak to her and meet her dog. When I got to the house I quickly made friends with the "Large Dog" and asked if I could take him for a walk, the owner was a little surprised by my odd request but said sure. When I returned from the walk I asked the owner if she would be willing to let me market the home. I told my plan was to put a note in the multiple listing sheet for her home to contact me for all showing. I told her that for every showing I would get to the house 10 minutes before the showing appointment and wait for outside the house for the agent with the dog. I would then walk the dog while the house was shown. It took 9 days and 3 showings for the home to sell. The owner were so grateful, they referred me to their friends and family. I am proud to say that in the next 9 months I closed 5 properties with over $30,000 in net commission to me. This is one of many success stories I have for just going a little above and beyond what is expected of you. I have lost count of the lawns I have mowed and the front doors I have painted to make sure the home I was marketing made a great first impression!"

I reached out to Mike and asked if he could help us search for a home. I never told him exactly what I was looking for because frankly I didn’t even know. I only told him that what I knew, I have a wife with 2 young kids, and also looking for a good value not compromising our wish list (that wasn’t easy). Mike had prepared 3 homes for us to see on our first tour date and I’m not kidding you that the first house we saw was the one we bought. He nailed it on the first to bat.

I felt so comfortable with the first experience that I went back for another when I found out that my company had decided to relocate me to the Atlanta market in 2011, I quickly called him up and said you need to represent me even if my company wanted me to shop around. I just knew immediately that if I wanted it sold quickly Mike needed to be the guy.

Him and his team immediately jumped into action providing me with the normal stuff like comps and suggestions, but above that he explained to me his strategy for marketing the house and timeframe to optimize the sale price. Just by him suggesting holding off the listing for 1 week till the spring breaks in was huge.

We listed the house and in 4 days we had our first offer and with his advise and strong negotiating skills we had a signed offer and excepted it. No one could believe that on a corner of a busy street we sold our house in 4 days.
