Early in my RE Days 5 years ago, I was impressed by a couple of Blogs that spoke about investing in your own business, and not waiting for a broker to do it. I bought 10 "Ask For Jim Bath, REALTOR @ 941-716-0051" metal Rider signs and put them almost anywhere, certainly on all my Listing Signs. Cost= $127 delivered. Within 2 months, I picked up both sides of 2 sales because un-represented buyers saw the signs, called me and bought the places (not quite that easy, of course!). The double commissions amounted to almost $11,000, in the year2009, a fairly down market. Name me another place besides Las Vegas where 127 Dollars could turn into almost $11,000.
