I received a call from someone who needed a recommendation finding a several month rental to be with a family member who was here in the hospital and soon to be hospice for their last days. Fortunately, based on their geographical needs, I was able to call a few places and came up with a wonderful place to help them. I think there is no greater purpose than helping someone truly in need. Shortly after that, I received a phone call (luckily I picked up) and a buyer called me who was unhappy with their current agent. Long story short, a pending sale and active listing from it. Then, an incoming referral from another fellow AR member, so another pending transaction. So...helping a family member in desperate straits with a family member in hospice to two pending sales and an active listing."
